Where there’s Lud now and when there will be more

I think our first website appeared sometime in 1996 or 97. Built it from a kit. I still had an AOL email. Back then, you had to have a different set up for Netscape and Explorer. Real fun times. The last thing I did with it was create a trailer for Live at Pompeii II: This time it’s Lud, a movie I one day hope to make.
Since those days, our stuff has moved around online and finally went away after a major hack took out access to our Ludland site. A couple of years ago, I got some good advice and moved everything I could to Bandcamp at https://ludmusic.bandcamp.com/
The albums on there now include:
• Defenestration Boulevard (2014)
• V (2008)
• HemiDemiSemiQuaver: Lud Instrumental Favorites 1994-2008
• Lud Country: Country & Folk Rock Favorites 1997-2020
Last year, Pete Weiss and I got together and put all eight of our records into uploadable form with more or less the same levels. Along with being able to release all the recordings online, we now have the opportunity to recurate the thirty years of Lud recordings into different themes. Lud County & HemiDemiSemiQuaver are the first two of the favorites series. More releases in the series are in the works.
Over the next year, we’re also going to release the remaining records from the late 20th Century. As always, another new album project is in the works and we’ll have a few singles flying out of the reactor.
You can follow us here or on Bandcamp. We also maintain a twitter and a facebook for some reason.
Happy New Year,
